The Rotary Club of Fortitude Valley generously donated the funds to purchase an additional vehicle for the NightWatch Chaplains service. We received this with humbled thanks.
Rotary Club of Fortitude Valley members Larry O’Toole and Michael Bailey present a cheque for $35,000 donated to ChaplainWatch to purchase a vehicle, while Larry O’Tool officially hands over the keys to Senior Chaplain Lance Mergard for the new Nissan XTrail.

The purpose of the National Street Chaplain's Symposium was to commence a dialogue with participants about the establishment of a national network of night-time street chaplains.The Symposium offered a unique opportunity to come together for the first time, to meet each other face to face and get to know what each ministry is doing on the ground.

Senior Chaplain, Lance Mergard was honoured to be invited to deliver the opening prayer at the Lord Mayor's Prayer Breakfast on Thursday 15 May 2014 at Brisbane City Hall. The breakfast brings together church, business, community leaders and people from all spheres of the community to stand and pray for our City.
'WISDOM AT WORK' BOOK LAUNCH, 8 OCTOBER 2013
Lance Mergard was pleased to attend the Book Launch - 'Wisdom at Work – 101 Reflections on Leadership' by Rev Mark Vincent, Bruce Henzell and Greg Loumeau at the Easts Leagues Club.
The book contains a potpourri of Biblical wisdom categorised according to the traits observed in outstanding leaders. And each Bible verse is as relevant in leaders today as it was 2000 years ago.
Proceeds from the book sale are being donated with sincere thanks and apreciation to ChaplainWatch.

NRMA Insurance Broncos Scott Prince, Alex Glenn and Corey Oates received a visit from Broncos Charity Partner, ChaplainWatch, after training last week. Prince, Glenn and Oates were granted an exclusive tour of the rapid response vehicle that features state-of-the-art emergency lighting, in-car communication and First Aid equipment.
As a partner of the Broncos Charities Group, ChaplainWatch received support for NightWatch.

It was a great night showcasing the incredible work of the NightWatch Chaplains. There were loads of opportunities for great prizes to be won, including Golf Clubs, mens and ladies bikes, jewellery, dining, accommodation and shopping vouchers just to name a few.

THE SECOND NIGHTWATCH VEHICLE
A significant portion for the purchase of this second rapid repsonse vehicle was generously donated by The Brisbane Broncos Charities Fund, along with the support of Starbucks Coffee Company Australia (Myer Centre) which covered emergency lighting, in-car communication and First Aid equipment.
With the additional generous support of Black & White Cabs, Smartline Personal Mortgage Advisers and all those who attended the 2011 Night 4 NightWatch fundraising event, a significant portion of the vehicle and equipment costs have already been covered. We sincerely appreciate this wonderful gesture and show of support for ChaplainWatch.
A NIGHT WITH NIGHTWATCH
The NightWatch Project was established to offer a pro-active, independent mobile patrol to assist anyone in crisis, at risk or in need. The NightWatch Chaplains work in partnership with other official services; Police, Ambulance, City Council, venue management and security, taxi operations and other city stakeholders.
